This timepiece has just been given a complete service, new crystal and gaskets ($650 value!)
DESCRIPTION:
What a great way to start your watch collection with this vintage timepiece from the world's most prestigious watch manufacturer at a relatively low price! This reference model is hard to find especially with the gold toned textured dial! As a matter of fact, at the time I made this post, I cannot find any others for sale! The 18-karat yellow gold case measures approximately 33mm in diameter. It has a push pull gold crown that boast an embossed Geneva Seal. Once considered a gentleman's watch (and it still is), the size is now considered small for a man. But men with a smaller size wrist will enjoy wearing this timepiece. In my opinion, it is a great unisex watch because women are also now wearing larger sized watches. In short, this classic watch will look great on any gender! You will also appreciate that it has an ultra slim design with a thickness of only 8mm. The mechanical hand wound 17 jewel movement (Calibre 10-200) is reliable and in excellent condition. As mentioned above, it has just gone a complete detailed service and received a new crystal and gaskets. Another great feature of this timepiece is the exquisite dial. The outer dial is domed while the center has a small, checkered pattern in which the color of the dial and gold hands match the gold case. This timepiece is just "retro cool". Swiss Made.
