Truly one of the hardest Panerai watches to find. This is my 5th piece in 6 years that I have been able to offer. Only one other piece was in as good condition as this PAM 40. Most collectors want the PAM 36 and PAM 40 in their collection. Unlike the PAM 36, this was not made as a collectible piece, but made as a regular production time piece. The few others that I have seen have not been in great condition because they were not purchased to be collected... but used. The reason this is one of my favorite Panerai watches is that it became collectible! Who knew it would only be made for one short production year in a small production run of 200 and never to be made again. Until recently all titanium Panerai watches had tobacco dials exept this one with a black dial. Another anomaly was that this was the only B series watch made with a tritium dial that was not a submersible model watch. The "Creamy" colored tritium numeral on the black dial with the subtle titanium case has a vintage look that is not found on any other Panerai. Simple, beatiful and collectible, this is sure to be one of the most collectible Panerai watches. Complete with box and papers in collectors condition. Don't miss this opportunity!
