This is one of the most collectible modern days Panerai timepieces! Very rare and difficult to find!
This is a Luminor Base Model Panerai with a 44 mm stainless steel case and black military PVD coating. The dial is black, and the numbers, indices and hands have been given a luminova paint which has a creamy vintage look. Of course, this look is desired by true Panerai collectors. Making it more special, Panerai has given this dial the OP logo just over the number 6. It has a mechanical movement which is protected by the patented locking crown. The watch comes on an Italian handmade tan calf strap and has a sewn in black PVD coated tang buckle with an embossed Italian shield. Also included is the original OEM Panerai black rubber dive strap and Pre Vendom black PVD buckle. Only 300 specimens of this model watch were made. It comes in a huge pearwood presentation box and has the parchment scrolls as most special pieces.
This is a special edition honoring 10 years of enthusiasm for watches and friendship found only on the Paneristi watch forum. It is my understanding that the forum moderators were instrumental in the design and making this timepiece become a reality. Congratulations to a job well done and to those lucky members that received this most coveted PAM 360.
