An outstanding Special Limited Edition from Panerai. This Special Edition was created in 2006 to commemorate the Laureus Regatta. Panerai has been a long time supporter of these sailing boat races and has made a special editions in honor of the men that sail these large ships. This is the most handsome of all Panerai chronographs in my humble opinion! The black "hobnail" dial gives it a carbon dial appearance, but it has more depth and a nicer matt finish than a polished carbon dial. This dial is much more pleasing to the eye and is truly 3 dimentional. The blue second counter is stunning against with the black dial. The new 1950 style stainless steel case is 44 mm in size, has an exhibition case back and sleeker looking than the original luminor case's found on Panerai watches. With all the functions this model has to offer, it is a superior functionally designed flyback chronograph watch that would make a great daily wear. With only 500 units created, you know it is collectible and a piece you will be proud to have in you collection.
In collectors condition complete with box and papers.
