Panerai PAM 01 A Luminor Marina T Swiss T Dial, 44 mm,
This is a very collectible PAM0001 A series watch in wonderful condition. The A series model watches were the first series created in the late 1990's by Panerai after their integration into the Richemont watch company. Richemont Panerai only offered the Tritium Painted dial watches in this first series (with the exception of some later created submersible model watches). Because the numbers and hands have a creamy appearance and have a subtle long lasting glow (not found in current luminova painted numbers and hands) and have a warm vintage look, and because you can no longer get Tritium painted dials and hands, the A series watches have become highly collectible. The PAM0001 A Base model is one of the most collectible of the A series model watches because of its simple dial and design, lack of features and locking crown. The small sub second with the tritium painted leaf indicator has tons of character and is the only added feature that is not found in base model watches.
This watch comes with its original A series pearwood box (different than current model pearwood boxes as it has a deep reddish blonde color). The original outer black carton houses the rare box. The package also has it original OEM Panerai tan calf strap, OEM Panerai A series rubber coated black calf strap (collectible in it's own right), OEM Panerai A series 2 screw buckle (which is also rare and collectible), manual, COSC certificate, Movement sticker, warranty Card, screwdriver and Libretto.
The watch is in fabulous condition and sure to be enjoyed and admired by the Panerai collector!
