Watches 24 Seven Consignment Program

Thanks for considering Watches 24 Seven to help sell your watch! Here's some information on our program.

Watch auction houses keep about 30% of the "hammer" or sale price. Our commission rate is much less starting at 14% of the sale price. If you purchased the watch being sold from Watches24seven, you would receive a larger discount of our commission to 12%.

The owner of the watch is responsible for any other fees. Such as shipping the watch to Watches24seven, bank wire fees, watch polishing, watch repair or parts needed and selling or posting format fees. Watch polishing or repair will only be done with the owner's permission and a general idea of the watch preparation fees will be presented prior to the owner's consent of completing any work.

The watch will be offered on our website as well as several other watch forums, eBay, Facebook and Instagram. As preferred customers Watches24seven receives discounted prices on these formats and the seller will benefit from our memberships. We advertise approximately 4 days a week and have a great presence in the watch community. Some of these formats are free and some have selling or posting fees. If sold on our site, you will incur a PayPal/Braintree commission fee of 3.4% (this can go slightly up or down depending on the economic times). The other formats charge a fee of as much as 7%. But if we sell your watch directly to a repeat customer, you may not have any fees other than the Watches24seven commission.

In general, the owner of the watch can expect to recoup 80% to 88% of the selling price if watch preparation is not needed. The seller of the watch will be paid by Watches24seven after the new owner has paid, received the watch and says they are happy with their purchase and will be keeping the watch. Of course, these fees may change, and we will notify you of any significant changes.

Auction houses charge much higher fees, and you have to accept whatever the hammer price may be, where the owner of the watch and Watches24seven study the market and decide together where to price the watch.

Watches24seven does need to be in possession of the watch as we must show pictures of the actual watch, box and papers. Watches24seven sells discretely. Serial Numbers and owners and AD names will not be shown in these pictures. Most customers have questions about the watch and its contents, and we need to be able to answer their questions accurately and promptly. We can supply US customers with an insured shipping label. Our label usually costs less than if you were to send it with your own label.

Because every watch we handle takes approximately 3 hours of work, the owner will pay $250 if the watch is not sold and the owner wants the watch returned. The seller is responsible for shipping the watch both ways.

Keep in mind that watches rarely sell instantly. It could take 3 weeks or 12 months. If your watches don't sell at our agreed listing prices, we can choose to lower them. You will be paid after I receive payment from the buyer and the new owner let's me know they are happy with their purchase. Feel free to check my site regularly to see if your watch is on hold. I recommend that you contact me every 6 weeks to see what the interest of your watch has been and if we need to make any price changes.
